By some margin the most I paid was for a box of Partagas Piramide LE from 2000. I got them from JJ's for ?335....not a horrific price but WAY more than my usual ?6-7/stick

      Very nice purchase Stevieboy...

When was that? If you don't mind me asking...!?!

If it makes you feel better (which it will) I paid ?32 for a single of these from La Casa back in October...

It was amazing by the way...

      Cheers, HabanoSy

It was about 9 months ago IIRC....Pedrohan said he'd found some at JJFox's so I got in on the act....amazing smoke. A lot of older smokers say they taste the way older CCs used to taste and that newer stuff isn't as good!?!?!

          Nice one...

Yeh, Ajay at La Casa said the taste/flavour profile of these harked back to how old Cubans used to be...

          He should know, I guess...

I spent $60 for an Opus X BBMF. Thats the most for me. Still have not smoked it yet. To be honest I am a little afraid. I have smoked some bigger Opus and had to lay down. Someday when I grow up I will light it up.

I doubt I'd pay more than ?50 for a smoke.
A 'regular' smoke for me is around ?5-20. Anything beyond that is a bit 'special'.

About the most that I have spent was about 1200.00 for a box of Monte Especials from 94. Overall, I never spend more than about 200.00 a box.

that was a good price for the partagas 2000s there. ive seen a box going for ?500 at whisky-cigar that im tempted by.
JJs had another box in a few months ago, but they were open for singles. have to be so quick and be in the right place, right time to get them fine apples!

If it's a collector's cigar, box, item, I would pay what I would figure by experience is worth.

Regular smokes. I made the mistake to buy 3 sticks of the coh siglioVI reserva. Some 80 euros a piece. Not worth it. In fact they are as good as the "ordinary" siglioVI and I think they are not worth a penny more. IMHO. Having said that the 2 remaining reservas are sleeping and will continue to sleep forever. Until they become a collector's cigar.

Most I've paid for a single stick is ?20 for a Siglo VI in duty free....most I would pay would probably be ?30. Unless of course I encountered the perfect storm of finding myself unexpectedly out without so much as a cheroot in my pocket, on an unexpectedly warm evening at an unexpectedly stupendous restaurant that had an unexpectedly fine selection of smokes....then I shudder to think what I'd be capable of.
