Well done, SBoy.
I brought a box back from Havana - from the Partagas factory - and they are a totally different colour to a box I bought online. It's remarkable. Like black vs white.
Actually the ones from Havana look like they are getting over scabies. Really wart-y and veined compared to the smooth biatches I already had.
Both cigar batches taste wonderful so I'm not worried in the slightest about possibly having been fake-shafted.

F**K it im gonna add some more controversy, I think the JL2 is better than the Duke. IMO the Duke is over rated and should not be smoked right away The RyJ Churchill is a better smoke. The Duke could do with a year on it before being considered great.
I really only wanted 1 nomination each but since we're all listing the contents of our humidor here's my top 3 in order.
1. Padilla 1948 Robusto - best cigar I've had this year hands down.
2. Partagas P2
3. Montecristo SublimeLover of fine Cubans since 2006

unfortunately, i have to agree with this maniac.....i too think the jl2 is better than the duke. although the duke i think is a very good cigar. i also have to agree on the padillas! although i have not had the 1948, ive has several others that have been simply amazing.
