Davidoff adventure is a proper mans aftershave if looking for something cigar related.

Or D&G (in the blue velvet box) and Hugo Boss in motion are always good when on the pull. I have to beat the ladies off with a stick when I use those...

On the other hand nothing like good ole Brut, if older women are your thing.

Wow, a really interesting cross section of choices (and I didn't get as much as stick I was expecting - phew!).

Have drawn up a list of new ones' to try out based on your recommendations - cheers guys.
Particularly keen to look up Tom Fords 'Extreme' (Thanks jamesmids), and the two picks that Ramon put forward (cheers for the links!), both sound my sort of thing, esp the Opus 1870.

My apologies if this sounds a little random, or in any way ..?metrosexual?, but I was just wondering if any of the members used or had any recommendations for brands of aftershave which complemented their enjoyment of ?the leaf?, or at least made them more enticing to ladies who might otherwise not appreciate the fine bouquet of a well made (and smoked) cigar.

For myself, I?ve always found that that Versace L?Homme seems to have the desired effect, but I?m more than willing to try others. Who knows, if someone can name one that improves my ..ahem, conversion ratio, than I?d be more than happy to send along a token cigar by way of appreciation. Lol

I'll whiff every bottle of aftershave on a P&O Ferry when coming back from France. I like most of the Armani afterhaves.

There are various sprays for about ?7 in NEXT which do a fine job if you want a background whiff on a night of cigars and the lady. I go for the lime green one.

I do go easy, though. It's easy to over-scent and confuse the smeller.
