To echo some of the above posts, I have a box of Bolivar Royal Coronas (Oct. 2002) that I nearly sent back because the wrappers were a pale green. Today, they are some of the best puros in my humi.

All very well and all very knowledgable. And, yes I'm going to keep my own Tippexx's Cigar Log .... Starting Stardate 2010.
But, it still dosn't answer the basic question .... CC's are premium priced items, with a couple of sticks costing as much as a bottle of 18 year old. So if Speyside can hold back till the kits properly ready why not Cuba?
Maybe I'm just being greedy wanting the best from my 'gars NOW! OK patience was never one of my better virtues, an cigars and Monkey's wines are perfectly adapted to rest in their humidors and cellars FOREVER. But I'm just human, a bit of agein' ain't gonna benefit me much .... does seem like I'm loosing a few of my remaining years to vegetables!
If you want to, you can.
And, if you can, you must!
No one ever said the cigar hobby and lust was cheap!!!!!! It was at 1 point for the rich and famous then other markets(NC) came into existance, and the average joe could enjoy a fine cigar at an affordable price. This now gives us the ability to spend top dollar on CC and age them while enjoying the less expensive NC cousin while the ageing process is being preformed! Saving all the while for our next CC order of a much larger size. This allows us to rotate our CC and have plenty ageing for years to come.
The hardest part is the beginning of the ageing process Buy a shit load and having to wait a year or more for them to mature. Money sitting there waiting to gain intrest. But when it does(paydirt) ! the finest CC for you to enjoy.
I know this sucks but it is what it is !
