I need some help. I want to flavor my cigar with Jack Daniels. What I used to do was wet my cigar with liquor and store them in a plastic bag. I'm not sure if what I am doing is right but I read that technique somewhere. Can someone please give me better way of doing this? Thanks!

hello sipnsmoke,
good grief man, i hope you're planning on doing this to a cheap cigar rather than a fine cuban!!!!! lol!!!!
i'm sure that someone here can help, though i'm surprised you haven't got any information off the web!!!
i read that winston churchill used to order a cognac and a coffee for his breakfast, the coffee for drinking and the cognac for 'dunking' his cigar into! doesn't sound practical or appealing to me though........
al the best,
alex

Hi Sipnsmoke,
I've read somewhere that it is enough to place a cigar together with a measure of whatever you choose, JD in your case, in a sealed box untill the spirit evaporates completely. Never tried this myself -I'm not really that big on flavoured cigars.
Hope this helpsMy Cigar blog: Cigar Review Rag

Sounds like something you should do with a box (NC's probably) and then share round to let us all pass judgement.
Don't include the Mexican, his clan would take up half the box!!Nic
