Sorry rootbeer fans but can't stend the taste... just to be impartial across the pond I feel the same about Scotlands national soft drink IrnBru (the colour! ), thiugh I love their ads. Love if anybody pairs cigars with IrnBru!

Going back to the thread, I smoke mine outside because of my son and wife, who grew up with a foul-smelling cigar (the really cheap stuff) smoking father and can't stand the smell of any cigar now. If the sun's out I tend to sit in the back garden with a book and a cup of tea.

When I am smoking when going out I tend to pair cigars with Mojitos or Caipirinhas.

Yes snapple is great, I usually bring some back with me every year, that's and Dr pepper with cherry, though you can get that on ebay from the american food sellers at around (gulp) 1.50 a can. As for smoking
I take a small draw , then a longer one, exhale a little through my mouth then roll it around a while. I keep trying to blow it out my nose but haven't mastered that one yet. I think I'm burning my cigars though, they are tasting like
Bonfires , I need to get the knack of lighting them properley. One day I will attend a herf and get one of you guys to teach me

I smoke down in the open plan workshop at the bottom of our garden (30 meters), Im out the way and I can chill. Bit cold down there now, so i've cracked out the Caligas heater. Thinking of somehow making a small smoking shack with carpet and chairs maybe.

i smoke when i drive lots. also up here at the computer where my window fan is! yesterday the wife told me to bring the fan downstairs and watch tv with her! must be spending too much time with the cigars haha. i like to pair a cigar with a good red wine, a good beer, dark chocolate, or a good coffee. i also dont mind having a cigar all by itself! like right now. but i usually do require a glass or two of ice water after any cigar. dont know why.

I take off my tweed reefer jacket, beige slacks and loafers in the hall. I slip into a loose ochre track-suit.

I make my way down to my garden house with a Bolivar that's brown and veined like it's getting over scabies.

I open one of the windows ever so slightly and get lost in the thick, slow smoke clouds. I love to sit in these Havana clouds with my yellow lab who adores me.

There is no noise except the final death splutters of the last dying wasps flitting slowly in and out of the home they've made in the roof of my garden home. I want the last ones to hurry up and die.

The drink might be Sainsbury's High Juice with a single ice cube.

The light will be dark these evenings. Mostly Christmas lights on one wall of my garden home. The mood is always chirpy, therefore.

The heat comes from a bright light thing which turns and wobbles. It is a warming turner, always.

Me and my dog alone on a leather sofa deep in rich smoke and relaxed thoughts.

After a shit workday - after most workdays - this is heavenly perfume.

I salivate even as I write and think about it.

I always smoke outdoors at home. The best part is that I have a covered lanai so even if it rains, I have a place to enjoy a smoke. It never gets too cold here in Florida so, I am good for year round enjoyment. Mornings I like to pair a cigar with coffee. In the evenings, it's whatever cocktail I'm in the mood for.

When I am smoking a cigar for review, I only drink water so I don't introduce a flavor that is not part of the cigar.

I tend to smoke outside on the balcony, usually around midnight when it's dead quite. Great time to kick back and relax.
