I previously mentioned the cazadores- has anybody else tried it?thoughts?
I find the RyJ line bland and mild for my taste, except for the Churchill with some age, Short Churchill and the Cazadores. I have a box of Cazadores from May 08. It's the strongest cigar from RyJ line....slow burner, strong tobacco, hints of leather and spiced earth notes. I really enjoy them. Good Cigar!
I enjoy the Cedros line of sticks RyJ have. I like the powerful woody flavour they have. I also have some Short Churchills which are good but for me not a great cigar.
To get back to one of the original points. I think they are popular as they have a lot of exposure. Like Kdot said, I see RyJ cigars in supermarkets and smaller newsagents, always in tubes.
"Come in here, dear Boy, have a cigar" ....Roger Waters (Pink Floyd)
I have some Jose L. Piedra Petit Cazadores, and every stick as a different taste, some are quite bitter at the beginning and others are a bit more sweet but never very complex as to flavours. It?s a simple cigar that is a decent smoke.
The Exi 4, especially in cabs, and preferably with some age is great. The Exi 3 is also pretty good. As has previously been mentioned, the Churchill and Short Churchill's are also very good.
I'll second them. The Exhibition No. 4 (Hermoso) and similarly No. 3 (Corona Gorda) are nice smokes indeed. I also like the Short Churchill, but opinion on here is mixed.
