It's all well and good typing the names of the brands on here, but can you say some of the more meatier names correctly?
In a South eastern British accent, Ill type em how I pronounce. We'll grade eachother on how we do
Bolivar : BOLI-VARR , or maybe Boh-le-vah
Cohiba: Coe-Heebah
Cuaba: Kue-ahba
Diplomaticos: Dip-lo-mat-i-kos
El rey: El Ray De mundo
Fonseca: FON-sekka
H.Upman: Haych/Aych Up-man. Maybe 'archey' Upmann (thanks simplycigars for that memory stamp)
Hoyo: Hoi-yo DE Monter-RAY
JLP: Pee-ed-rah. Jose El Pee-ed-rah
Juan Lopez: Waaan Lo-pez ( Havent smoked or needed to say this name in conversation yet so I wonder if this is right?) I doubt it's joo-aan, I doubt the cubans would do an English accent just for that
Monte: Montey Crih-sto, easy
Partagas: Partah-Gas
Rafael Gonzales :Raf-eye-EL Gon-zar-lez
Ramon Allones: I was told how to say this correctly as I said it how I said it to my retailer and he corrected me, but I've since forgotten again! I said it like 'Rah-mon Al-oh-ness'. Think the guy said something's not pronounced. The way I say it is very British so it's bound to be wrong lol.
Romeo y Julieta: Romeo and Juliet . Sometimes I try and do the cuban pronounciation from Simplycigars which is something like 'Roh-may-oh *cant even describe how it sounds* ehhh Jooolee-etta. Think i'll stick with Just Romeo and Juliet...
Saint Luis Rey: Sain-Loo-ees....Rrray
San Cristobal: San Kristo-bal
Sancho Panza: San-cho Pan-zah
Trinidad: Trin-ih-dad (a given). Or maybe 'Tuh-reen-ih-DADuh'
Guantanamera: Shit-stick
