Almost all of a box of Monte 4 have been tight to completely solid.
I don't have a perfect draw but I do have a tool box full of various screws.
Now an essential piece of kit for these.
Yes they do work if you're careful and use a slender screw. Not the bigger one in the picture.

It was a Monte 5 that prompted my post. I was bought a box for my birthday by a friend, first two have been almost unsmokable. Not good enough really. Still now I know the trick.

I'd expect the shops these were bought from would honour their service and so the boxes. These should go back to habanos.

I think I may finally have this CAD under control...

Perfect draw is a great tool, bit like a brolly, better to have one and not need it, then need it and not have one

I'm sure you are right...being a gift it's a little awkward. I've ordered a draw tool now and fingers crossed I just got unlucky with the first couple. Oh and it's 'only' 5 sticks...I know I said a box...is 5 a 'pack'? Dunno.

You know, I?ve never actually had a perfect draw, and luckily not a lot of tight draws recently.

But I just know my luck might change, and the Brolly analogy just might come back to bite me!

Had to look at the price twice before I realised it was a joke.

                            https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07Y32NZ..._OCoLEbQV5C2SN 11.99?!!

In all seriousness. The barbs on the perfecdraw are good at pulling out tobacco and stems too. At under 30? as long as you don't lose it is a pretty decent price point https://www.cgarsltd.co.uk/perfecdra...r-p-25817.html

I've not often needed it. But pays for itself eventually for sure.

I used mine on Saturday with a Hoyo De San Juan, saved it and turned out to be a very nice smoke. Definitely worth the investment even if it's only needed a couple of times a year.
