Hi folks, this is my first post and first newbe question, as I'm completely green to all of this, I'm going to start small, I have a medium sized Tupperware tub that has a couple of 69% bovida packs controlling the humidity, I am expecting delivery of a couple of boxes of cigars, but am not sure whether to remove the cigars from the boxes, or just pop the boxes in the tub, sorry if this has been asked a thousand times, but I really am a complete novice, atb Daz

Just to add my 2C's worth, impressed as a Newbie you are already buying boxes. Certainly leave them in their boxes, only remove when you get down to less than half a dozen & you need the space. The cigars will certainly age better with their own kind & avoid any plastic smell. Another tip, put old ceder sheets in you Tupperware box, they'll help maintain humidity & smell. Lastly, don't get hung up on boxes to start with, it's the start of an expensive & hard to control, very difficult condition to cure, known medically as CAD ( Cigar Aquision Disorder)! Instead, I' recommend buying a variety of singles or packs of 3&5's to get a good background on flag's & strenghts,. Your tastes can change a lot in the first few yes sobdon't go too deep too soon.Simon Bolivar: Liberator of Bolivia, Ecuador, Peru & Venezuela.
