Not all but nearly every stick at the end i get this, mint is the wrong word perhaps. its like it takes your breath away - not in the romantic sense lol
I cant explain it in words, just after a long day and a large Whisky - maybe its that
I often get a mint aroma from an unlit cigar with a lot of years on it especially if it's an old, old tubo. They're almost always minty.... Spearmint rather then peppermint though
I think the end burn is less minty more acidic...so it stings rather than tastes. It would be interesting to use a holder for the cigar to ensure no hot gasses are taken into the mouth. If the mustiness goes, it's heat.
Be a big holder though...
