There seems to be a distinct lack of threads discussing shops which sell cigars. Is this deliberate, banned or just that I haven't found them yet?

There's the rules section somewhere...
You can only talk about buying from domestic shops, such as our sponsors.
Importing without organising and paying the relevant duties is illegal so we don't discuss this.
Of course we are allowed to personally walk in 50 cigars from the foreigns.
EU rules apply .. for now..--
I think I may finally have this CAD under control...

Thanks. Yes, I appreciate that only strictly legal and duty paid items are discussed, and I wasn't probing the limits. I did have a read of the rules but it was the fact that there seems a lack of "so and so looks after stock well" or " ERDM DT on sale at so and so". Thats all. I'll get there...
Thanks for the reply.David

My local shop closed when the owner died [emoji17] it was a bookshop mainly but he had a little humidor cabinet. On reflection it was truly awful (stock wise) and I doubt the humidor held humidity at all but it was quaint and the guy loved to rattle on about the old days etc. It was a pleasure to actually visit the shop and you could tell he was greatful for any purchases but mainly just the visit/footfall.
My local shops are now in Edinburgh and are as bland as they come. Very touristy orientated and you are very much led by the hand as soon as you enter.
Saying that, I visited a shop in Newcastle last month (cant remember the name) but their stock was very good. I picked up an '13 RA Gigantes and overall their mini-walk in humidor was very impressive.
If we were allowed lounges in the shops here it may be a different story.

No local shops where I live.
Although I did spot a humidor in my local newsagent recently! That I've yet to check out.
In fact there's another news agent called smokers paradise. Nothing to write home about. Ok if you're disorganised like I can be I guess. But long time since I checked out their offerings. I know I'm slacking...
But there's no point buying my behikes from those guys [emoji849].--

The public side of UKCF limits the discussion of sellers to UK vendors only (which does me no good, being a mexicant). But what you discuss in your private messages is up to you.
That is all.
