Think yourself lucky. I got a Magic Trackpad for my Mac Mini despite telling her last month that I hate trackpads which is one reason I don't like laptops, its going back on Saturday. And eldest son bought me a smoking themed tee shirt I've already got. His future mother in law bought me a bottle of red wine, hate the stuff. Not a great Christmas but youngest son but me a Buffy figure for the cabin so not all bad.
Before you give it back...give the trackpad ago...it's the best thing about a Mac imo..all the different gesture are so helpful..

I can't return it if I break the shrink wrap and open it Shamir, she's lost the receipt. I prefer a mouse and I don't need any clever gestures for what I do but thanks for the suggestion.

O ok...fair enough... If you want to try one...I have one I could send you to try out.

If you use the multiple desktops a lot the gestures are a must. TBH that's the only thing I like about the Mac OS. The window management on HD screen is pretty good.
None of this loads of resized Windows rubbish.
I'm trying to get a leap motion so I don't need a track pad taking up space for my Linux setup. I can just swipe in the air. #minorityreport

I think I may finally have this CAD under control...

They wouldn't take it back even in part exchange as they only offer a 14 day exchange period and she bought it at the beginning of November. Too early for the extended Christmas exchange period.
Yesterday we spent the evening with my girlfriends close family and I received a neat Dupont for Christmas.

A lovely lighter that I use myself - just don?t drop it...the paint chips like nothing I?ve ever known! Also, be prepped to use only DuPont lighter gas, I tried using an alternative and it doesn?t work properly....

Good to know, I will take care of it. I got a bottle of the Dupont gas as well, man that's a small bottle, greedy bastards!

They are robbing bastards those French, that's why right wingers wanted to start a revolution a few weeks ago. Luckyly it didn't work out, I'd rather pay a lot of taxes and a little more for my Dupont gas than bow to queen Le Pen and consorts!
