  • Winter warmers. What?s your poison?

Evening all. With the winter upon us and the nights getting longer and a heck of a lot cooler, what are people looking forward to tucking into this winter?

Short smokes tend to be the order of the day but some of those who have the means to keep warm/sheltered might have their eyes set on other smokes. I?m intrigued to learn what?s on the world yet bucket list for people.

For those with go-to chilly weather smokes, I?d appreciate any recommendations!

For me, I?m in the cold (ish) camp so anything that?s short from my collection will be meeting their fiery end.

    Let the conversation begin!

Well I've promised myself some short robustos. I've a bunch of skinny short smokes already.

I've got to get a second patio heater as well. If this weather's anything to go by. Don't have a den to smoke in, bit the covered garden patio is sheltered on 3 sides.

Maybe I'll be able to get a photo together of short stock! I know how we all love some cigar porn!

Oh and some nice big red wine. Something half decent. Hopefully will see me through.

Then there's the lounge smoke near work. Photos in due course there too! Like last year.

    B.

Well at the moment I smoke in the cold outside and my cigars for a less than 40 minute smoke would be a combination of Vegueros Mananitas, Trinidad Reyes, Upmann HC, La Gloria No5, Partagas D6, Drew Estate “Flying Pig”, PLPC and Partagas Shorts
Now for next year I plan to build a smoking shed - oops! I meant to say summer house for MLW - but come the colder nights the summer house, will become my smoking den, who knows what I will be smoking then

Karmas a b*tch, as they say! That doesn?t preclude you from revealing the bucket list for this winter, if there is one of course...!

There isn't, in fact there is going to be a buying hiatus unless something irresistible comes up online. It could be a very short break as an American friend yesterday told me he thought that his local shop had BLTC Lawless in stick. Just waiting to find out.

these get a bad rap, but I think they are delicious little sticks that punch above their weight

Oliva special g should hit the spot for a rich spicy little number over the winter months..but really anything small. half robusto, half corona, demi tasse etc

having said that the last couple of weeks i have parked myself at the kitchen door leaving it open with the side window open and the living room door shut. But to be fair i might as well sit outside

Last year I smoked a lot of HUHCs, Trini Reyes and HdMPR, however, I discovered this year that I much prefer smoking outside in the heat. I will likely rest my cigars for the majority of the winter and turn to my pipes when I fancy a smoke.

I?ve never tried a Cusbas, either... but Cuabas are something else, if you can find some with a decent draw.

Names Jay, Ray Jay, and winter is a fine time to dust off the pipes.
