Does indeed. I was reading the posts about single jets being better than triple jets (like mine), so that's an area of interest when you come to do the 'Which?' tests!

Its all about accuracy! I have a massive four jet table lighter that only comes into play to relight one that keeps going out and pissing me off!

The best lighter I’ve ever used for puros is the Dupont Xtend!
I was using a single jet today. Decided I don't like them. Pin point flame on a Robusto is too small. Prefer at least a twin I think for cigars for me.

I think I may finally have this CAD under control...
been interesting to read this post, I was looking at my lighters and thinking about what I use, and I think I use everything I do seem to gravitate towards my colibri daytona currently, but I also like to use cigar matches when i'm home and in no rush, I also use my ST DuPlonk as a soft flame option which is nice to use, but agree with the comments made earlier about searing and blackening of the wrapper when using matches or a soft flame lighter.
It's all each to their own and I find all have a time and place to use them.
But do tend to stick with a good single jet lighter
That's the Falcon I have too, in orange.
The fuel tank isn't large so doesn't last long and I found you do have to mess with the flame size on the bottom of the lighter.
Lucky extra cutter must have been a pleasant surprise.

Love a double or triple jet - all weather lighting. My main observation is that people put the stick too close to the jet - hence the charcoal-ing of the wrapper ends etc...
