  • Make your own,

I hope im not breaking any rules re posting links etc just thought it was a bit of fun worth sharing please delete if so.

Anyone ever thought about rolling their own smokes!? just came across this website, probably some rule somewhere about us not being able to buy whole leaf over here, i don't know, I haven't checked. I would have a go although i cant see them being any good mind....

Each Cigar Rolling Starter Kit Contains: - Instructional DVD - 2 piece Wooden Cigar Mold (48 x 5) - Cigar Cap cutting tool  - Cigar Labels - Cigar Glue - 7 grams - Bermocoll - 26 Nicaraguan Viso Leaves - 6 Dominican Binder Leaves - 6 Ecuadorian Viso Shade Wrapper Leaves

Dont think theres any law on not buying leaf tobacco asong as taxes are paid.

I had a look at whether it was possible to grow your own tobacco in this country once and read that once the leaf was dried and cured it was then subject to duty even if for your own use.

I like the idea. 100% Seco leaves though, wouldn’t the lack of Ligero and Volado make the cigar extremely mild and burn poorly?

        Grow Yer Own!

Haha! Back in the early UKCF days ( according to The Journals), there were several eager beavers around here who made attemps to grow and roll their own. Don’t recall any success stories, however.

A very naughty boy on social media was hit with a letter from HMRC threatening 7years jail for importing cigars and not declaring.

If they won't let you grow it and cure it yourself for your own use they'll certainly be upset with someone bringing it in!

Is it actually illegal to brew one's own alcohol too for personal use? #moonshine

often the way with things..i can go to a hydro shop and buy a full set up, the equipment isnt illegal but what you do with it is..funny isnt it.

on a side note, they recently banned the sale of e-liquid in anything over 18mg. But i can go to the shop, buy cigarettes and chain smoke until i drop or cost the nhs a fortune. They want people to smoke between the ages of 18-30 so they can enjoy the revenue with few difficulties later in life thus saving the nhs spend..all money in the bank for them isnt it.

sorry i had a little rant there...

its illegal to do it unlicenced. you can apply for a licence with relative ease. but you do have to be prepared to deliver a return to show the production etc.
