Try putting your bovedas and hygrometer in a ziploc bag for a day or two and see what the reading is. Fwiw, my desktop stays around 67% with 3 72% bovedas.
A lower RH means less a looser seal as there is less moisture in the ceder, so the difference between the RH on the Boveda pack and what you get will be bigger. You could try adding another 65%.

I'm not surprised that you are only getting 62 with a 65 boveda but am surprised that you maintained 69 with the 69 packs. My understanding is that unlike a tuperdor the rh in a wooden humidor will usually be a few degrees lower than the rh on the pack.

I remember reading that when I first got my humi...but it always used to stay at 65.
I might try one more 65 boveda...and if I get the same results i'll Go up to 69 again.

Spot on Steve, the wood will always absorb a couple of percent
I have a wooden humidor that was low with 69% Boveda. Was getting down to 62%. I then eventually decided to re season it for two weeks and it's now sorted.
