Temperature, humidity. Pressure variations during travel. Time out of airtight packing. How long they were in this packing.

I tend to find I have lots of burn issues when I smoke cigars within a month of arriving. Might be coincidence, might be confirmation bias... who knows? But this hobby tends to reward patience so I have no issue waiting a little while (most of the time at least )
