I cut them with flat or V cutter straight the way, but I have not found the advantage of doing it in angle.
          Cheers

Had a BBF last night and tried the angled cut; it may have been coincidence, but I had real issue with sogginess (#veryseriousfirstworldproblems)

A greater area to slobber over?

The first cut is the deepest!

I guess the cut you choose can be a double-edged sword, so to speak.

My new rule: If smoke comes out and the wrapper stays put, it a Good Cut!

I quite like the pac-man v cuts! Even on a torpedo

The angled straight looks interesting, but I can't shake the fact that on all these pics it just looks like people have hurried and got it wrong!

I agree with you on this - Having made a slanted cut yesterday afternoon each time I had the cigar on the rest it didn't look quite right as up until then I'd always done a straight straight cut

Then again, could be a 90 degree approach...

Well, It?s like the old expression, chico - Sometimes you feel like a cut (straight), sometimes you don?t.

                          Or is that a ?nut??

That's why I love a torpedo, if the draw is too tight you can just nip off another little sliver, no need for a fancy cut
