ah that I didn’t know, I thought it was one of the harder ranges to get, I thought it was a limited run, but then I could have read the wrong things

The Lost City range arose from the Andy Garcia film 'The Lost City'. Garcia needed a field of tobacco as the backdrop for the film and Arturo Fuente planted him one. After the movie Garcia thought they would clear the field but Fuente created a new line of Opus X with it. 10% of all proceeds go to the Lost City charitable foundation in the DR so there is a purpose to keeping it going.

One of the problems with the Opus range is that they do large boxes of cigars of random amounts which makes buying them expensive. Yesterday I was offered a box of Opus X Sharks for $1200. The single cigar price wasn't too bad but there's 36 in the box! Good value to look out for are the tins of three if you can find them

Thats the story I know and thought because it was only one field of tobacco that would make the sticks limited....but that one field could continuously be regrown to produce the same sticks I guess.

36.. that is a random number for a box

The box of #5s that I bought contained 42 originally although there was only 32 left. I think they make the boxes then see how many they hold!

As a postscript to this someone bought the box at CGars so I looked online to see how competitive the price was and one recently sold at auction in the States for $481 - ?355. Original RRP $192.

I believe to have read somewhere that the Regios has been or will be discontinued.

Ha ha. That doesn't mean that they won't be available for months to come.
