Strange. Had a thread on another car forum about artificial grass. Really don't understand it. If you have a garden then why not be prepared to put in the effort cutting grass?

No time, so it was artificial or wilderness. Plus it's great for the kids in all weather!

I do occasionally! Usually just a quick brush over is enough to keep it nice and fresh.

I?m with you. Laid ours a couple of years ago as grass doesn?t grow in my garden (water table too high as next to the river). Great for the little one.

Indeed, not AstroTurf though that?s a swear word [emoji23] this was shortly after it was laid, raised bed was work in progress.

Again, not Astro; the pile on this is so thick and lush. It looks much more like real grass than the pictures suggest.

0 maintenance! There's about a foot and a half of hard-core underneath; haven't seen so much as a weed since it was laid almost a year ago. We used to get loads of unwanted growth from the field on the other side of the fence, no more!

I had it installed [MENTION=12]cohibaIV[/MENTION] took 4 days including clearing, groundwork etc and then finally the laying. It's not something I would have done myself, plus the grass came with a 10 year guarantee.
