It may be faddy, it might be a total waste of money, but I must admit I am intrigued! May have to get one and see if it really makes a difference ....

I'm sure they were tried and dismissed on here a few years ago as a gimmick

They certainly strike me as a gimmick, and looking at the videos the cut looks appalling!

I guess you won't be wasting your money now then.

Given it was introduced in 2011 then if it was a genuine benefit I would have thought it would be more popular. Finding an expensive solution to a problem that doesn't exist?

i've sure i've seen something similar but punching little needle size holes in the cap. i've not heard one person mention it, so can't be that great.

I'm looking to update my punch, still using my cheapy one i bought a few years back...looking to upgrade now.

We should have an annual prize for what would appear to an outsider to be the most arcane thread (I hesitate to say 'nerdy'); this could be a contender...

This is actually making me think there must be a way of solving the cigar cut and perfecdraw in one...

A punch cut with a draw poker in the middle?

A load of very long thin spikes?
                        .--
I think I may finally have this CAD under control...

Crisps and biscuits would be viable contenders too

Just stick to NCs and you won't need a Perfecdraw

But didn't the inventor create the PD to tweak the draw of his NC??

I prefer a medium to firm draw. Not a fan of very light draw. Been lucky so far!
