Whats on everyone list.

I've got another box of monte number 4, either RASS or RASCC and boli royal corona or coronas junior.

Possibly some punch 48(loved the one I had recently)

Would like a box of PL Montecarlos, possibly some Media Coronas and the RA LE 2015. I've definitely got enough in stock at the moment though, so am thinking of upgrading my guillotine cutter and lighter. Possibly a Puro Prestige travel case for the summer.

Well here's my want list of current production cigars. LEs, REs and out of production cigars are not included.

Thats a mighty impressive list gojira.

Not sure the wife would sanction these. Suppose, I'll never know unless I ask

            Ha ha.

It's just a list of regular production cigars that I don't have yet or would like to own more of. I like the want list option on the cubancigarwebsite. One can take a quick look at it whilst visiting the cigar store or browsing online. And I tend to never recall what I want when I'm standing in the cigar store, so this just makes it easier for me.

And it will probably take me a year or so to purchase nice looking boxes of all the cigars that are on this list.

              That?s a great list gojira.

Noticed there are quite a few ?older? production dates on the list - have you found it particularly difficult to find older cigars? I wouldn?t know where to start!

Oh, the years on the list are just the release years of the cigars. You should check out the cubancigarwebsite, there is a lot of very interesting information on there and some cool features (wantlist and my collection).

I find some aged cigars from time to time at various stores or through trading. Purchasing aged cigars can be hit or miss as some are not very good from time to time, which can be due to bad storage or over aging. But I have been rather lucky with most of my aged cigar purchases and trades.

Too many to name, I have a problem

If the opportunity arises a good box of Fundies or Sir Winston’s, however either would be my most expensive box purchase so more likely in the short term PL Montecarlos, BBF and SCDLH El Principe.

Don't purchase the Sir Winnie blind. I made that mistake and received the shittiest (pardon my French) box ever to come out of Cuba. And it seems that I'm not the only one. I'm just waiting for them to age a little, smoke all the ugly ones and get another box....

Another box of RASCC, as I have just opened my 2013 & I'd love to have another aging. And I could just about squeeze these in the Boli-Cave without having to get more humi' space. I have just bought a box of VR Andorra's Short Robaina 2014, with the idea of smoking these after my RASCC are finished by then the VR's should be reaching perfection but of course in the ideal world, I'd like a box of RASCC aging to smoke after the VR's.

Those VR Andorra's Short Robaina 2014 are already lovely smokes. I have half a box left and will try to leave them alone from now on.

Thanks for the advice Mike and sorry to hear about your box, hopefully they will surprise you with how well they smoke. I very rarely buy blind to be honest and wouldn?t on a box that cost as much as they do, I know they are not super premium but certainly expensive enough to make me wary.

My pleasure Alex. Most of the time ugly cigars smoke as good as the beautiful ones but I have 2 or 3 sticks in that box that beat ugly by a mile. The Cuban quality control guy must have had a bad hangover on the day he checked my box.

I think that they are a premium cigar since they are the most expensive one of the regular production HU line-up and available only a few months each year.

But I have learned my lesson. I will pay €30 more next time and get a good looking box.

Without a doubt they are premium, but not super premium, ignoring LE’s and other special releases Esplendidos are what 50% more expensive? What I was trying to say was that to me they are still costly enough to take no risks on, exactly as you put I like to pay the little bit extra and have peace of mind.

What makes you think Cuba has a quality control guy?
