I am not sure if any of you folks have come across one of the latest Sautter videos where he is reviewing the Connie A.
At about the 10 min mark he starts to discuss a new initiative he is going to be launching, a form of 'cigar butler' service. This is basically where the 'butler' makes a home visit once a week/month where they will clean and season your humidor, turn your cigars, and have a conversation about whats smoking great right now, learning your preferred flavour notes, and offering up new smokes to broaden your pallet - all of which you can get from them there and then.
He is also planning to roll this out nationally, which surprised me.
I can only imagine the cost that this will entail for the customer, however i do think that this is a novel, and interesting idea, and a way to offer a unique and competitive personal service to try and curtail some lost sales from online retailers.
