  • Pig Tails

I recently watched a review of the now infamous Talisman and a fairly high tempo Dutchman unravelled a pigtail instead of cutting the business end of the stick.

It chimed in my mind that someone might have explained this to me a million years ago... but I don't recall ever having tried this.

Has anyone/ does anyone unwind the pigtail as the preferred route to a ready and consumable stick?

    looking forward to your thoughts

Isn't the pig tail the cap? So that's like removing the cap? Do thinking this no I don't. Because the wrapper is more likely to start to unravel.

I have accidentally cut and the cap comes off later. But that's different.

I think I may finally have this CAD under control...

You can twist the pig tail tighter - NOT unravelling - and it does break off and create a small hole like a tight punch. 50 % of the time it is too tight to be helpful, but sometimes it works
Only the impossible is worth the effort.

The pig tail is a cap, you can just pull the "tail" and it should remove the cap like cutting it whilst still leaving the other caps to hold the cigar together. They're not found on most cigars though. Personally I still just cut them, I like to take a bit off the cigar anyway as I think it helps with the draw.

All I did is just twist it...make a little punch hole
