Well technically, so far so good for me...

I pulled the trigger twice more yesterday before actually saying I won't.....
    .--
I think I may finally have this CAD under control...

I think we need to find ourselves a Responsibility Sponsor ....

Though this group is a tonic for any buyers guilt i may be feeling

My spreadsheet does the organisation work. Singles are just in boxes randomly. Boxes; I try to keep marcas together but apart from that no organisation. I pull out everything I'm going to smoke once a year for the rest of the year then that goes into my smoke now humidor.

My singles are either in my desk humi or in boxes in the scuba....i generally put the singles that are ready to smoke in the humi and the ones i want to age in the scuba.

How do you sort your sticks?

By year, marca, order you got them, size, favourites, quantity, wrapper shade, strength, CA rating, cost, viola, none of the above?

My OCD feels the need for some order...

send them to me... I'll sort them

Haha, if only I had known. There were plenty available when I got mine.... And two weeks later they were all gone.

I wish I needed a spreadsheet to manage my collection, I know all my cigars personally by name

And what happens to the single cigars that are slightly damaged ?
Do they go in the reject box to be the first ones torched.

Oh you will, don't worry. Just get the credit card out and give it some time.

I've started to catalogue my sticks digitally so that I know what is what and where to find them. Having just invested in (and filled) a scubador, I could see myself losing track of ages and vitolas, especially as most of my collection is made up of singles. On a side note, I've worked out that I'm probably good for the next three or four summers at least (I tend to only smoke seriously when the weather warms up a bit) so don't need to buy anything else until the stock diminishes significantly... notice my use of the word 'need'...

I'm working on my collection for the future ie 10 15+ years down the line....so when I think I'll have more time to sit back and relax. I should have some nice aged stock to smoke. I've also stocked up my cigars for my 40th which is I quite a few years away but thought might as well prepared for it. Rather than just looking at the next few years.
