Evening All,

With a few websites out there claiming to offer "the best prices in the UK" who is actually right?

Without mentioning specific retailers at this stage, I know that one in particular has put their prices up on a few different lines, taking them considerably beyond the cheapest... they too must be aware that their mantra is therefore inaccurate.

Not trying to spark a huge debate as such, just seeing what your experiences are and if, when brought to their attention, prices are simply matched or brought below the best price you can find (even if only by a pound or two).

I know our sponsor does have that on his site and generally does match other websites or b&m of they can...


However I know with the talisman they didn't so not sure if they just do it with regular production cigars

Yeah. Limited editions are not guaranteed, I think I read that somewhere.

I've certainly got them to price match. Also on some rarer cigars on occasion. So worth taking them up on it.

I don't buy limited editions or discontinued lines, as I can't see the point in finding a cigar you really like, paying over the odds for it, and then not be able to buy it in future. I stick to regular production, even though there is less and less choice every year. Anybody know what lines are going to be deleted this year?

+1 for why i don't get to sucked into special production cigars, just marked up to high for a very rushed and similar blend

I to am itching to see the deletion list.........i got a bad feeling that some greats are gonna be leaving us like the Punch Punch

seems it's all going away from regular production over time. LE, RE, Anejados, huge ring gauges, the aged and second market seems to be crazy too, prices driving upwards for these.
