I have smoked several of these now and all of them have been a crushing disappointment. the Maduro No.1 was an absolute horrendous experiences, I may have well have rubbed dirt all over my tongue whilst snorting white pepper ...
But i understand some of you folks like that S+M sort of thing

I had one of the first boxes that came to the market and loved those. Fetched a box with a SOM OCT 16 code/date and had one. Didn't like it as much. I don't know if I'll keep the rest of the box yet. I might offer them on here in the future. Then again, maybe I should give them time to age a little.

You should try the 8-9-8, it's one of my favorite sticks. I also love the Salomones a lot.

I have two 8-9-8's cooking in my humidor, i will get around to giving them a try one day...

I know what you mean. It's really hard to purchase all we want, so it's a rather good thing if one has one marca less to take care of.
