Yep, I have been smoking them since July 2006, when I found them for E6.50 in a Tabac in Calpe, Spain.
Of curse you'll only teasing yourself by trying discontinued lines; if I were you, I'd try as may current vitola's as you can, especially the slimmer ones & when you find something you like, buy them up before they are discontinued. All the slim ones are at risk of deletion in the next few yrs IMHO. Like Hoyo du Gourments? Make sure you have a few boxes tucked away, ageing will only reward you further.
Of course one needs storage space............

I think I may finally have this CAD under control...
Best ncs would be the oliva master blends and the diamond crown julius caesars. Had plenty of other good ones but those two stand out in the past 12 months.
For cubans ive really enjoyed my box of upmann half coronas and my first dip 2 was very good.
But unless you keep a journal its very difficult. So many cigars they blur in the memory, and i have a brain like a sieve as well.
How much age do you think the Connie a needs? Got a fiver but have refrain from touching them. www.themysterywhisky.co.uk
Almost all of the Connie A's I've had have had next to no age and they've all been very good. Other Upmanns I haven't enjoyed unless they've had age on them so this was a turn up for the books.
Give one a whirl Shamz
My Cigar of 2017 was no doubt the Bolivar Belicoso Fino
I smoked an amaing one at JJ Fox in the summer, then the further two i had in my desktop humidor, incredible cigar this year, i think the one i had at JJ Fox had a few years on it but the ones i had at home were only 2 years old were fantastic full of flavor..........so happy i got a cabinet of these aging in my scuba box to!
