  • Quick Smokes?

The very nature of a quick smoke does not appeal to me. Indeed most of my sticks are too big for a "quick smoke." I have got some such sticks though.....

    - Arture Fuentes Exquisitos (smallest cigar I could find in the shop at the time)
    - Inka Secret bland (I don't mind ditching these if I need to)
    - HdM Petite Robusto (new acquisition - i hope they are quick smokes!)

My mates missus tonight, and I'll try to quote "... Why dont you go outside for a quick cigar while I get her [the baby] ready?" no! uh uh! He/We didn't bother...

I don't think I've ever had a cigar take less than 45 mins or so. Unless its been ditched. And to smoke under time pressure is not to enjoy a cigar!

So do you have any "quick smokes" for those moments when you might get a quick chance? That sounds like cigarettes to me!

The HDM Petit Robusto is an excellent smoke, but not necessarily a 'quick' one.

El Rey del Mundo Demi Tasse is well worth a try.

Well, there aren't a lot of quick smokes around. Maybe you should try some Perlas and Minutos such as Sig I, Monte 5, RASCC and such.

As you suggested unless you have more time then why bother. To relax, ponder and enjoy do not go to well with quick and hurry up !
Having said that I have smoked Cohiba minis about 3-4 mins. But wouldn't bother with anything less than 1/2 hour and the Trini Reyes would be my favorite followed by a slightly longer Party Short which is my go to winter smoke.

Indeed! If I sit down and light up, I have no plans. Thanks for the short suggestions. Might make sure I have some just in case...

Quick would be cigarillo as quickest cigar I would consider is at least 30 minutes

I'd make an exception for the HUHC.

A great smoke as is the HDMPR.

I've enjoyed the few Cohiba Shorts I've had from the box I bought a few months ago, have them resting to see if this has any bearing on flavour etc. I also like the Monte Puritos. Rather than needing a quick fix, like a cigarette smoker (which I guess would indicate addiction?) I just sometimes want to enjoy a cigar's flavour without committing to a full sized stick. I see the above, excepting the HUHC and HdMPR (these take me about 45/50 minutes) as lunchtime smokes to be enjoyed with a bite and a good coffee.

Shortest I would go for is a HUHC, or Monte No. 5 - I don't think I'd bother with anything less, as smoking is about relaxation for me, I'd struggle if I had a time limit!
