The worst cigars

So having perused the notebooks here are a few NCs I have learned to avoid

Ventura Project 805 - Peppery, boring and binned before the first ash fell
Macanudo Gold Hampton Court - cigarette like
Cohiba Red Dot - bitter and unpleasant
Viaje torpedo - cigarette like
Blend 17 petit corona - just boring
Maria Mancini Classic Perfecto - cigarette again
Alonso Menendez - got bitter at halfway
Petrus Sublime panatella - mouthful of pepper
Man of War Ruination - meh
Azul robusto - harsh and peppery
Diesel lancero - harsh mineral flavour
Caldwell Eastern Standard - too peppery
Leccia White - harsh and peppery
Leon Jimenes corona - harsh and peppery
La Aurora Escogidos - just boring, no flavour
Colon Especiales - nasty little cigar that tasted of tar
Partagas 1845 Black Label - bland leathery taste
Bolivar Corrida corona - disgusting harsh smoke
Macanudo Maduro Diplomat - nasty earthy flavour with a hint of beetroot

Obviously these are my personal observations that I wrote down after smoking them or ditching them. You may like peppery cigars or even a hint of beetroot!

Inca red robusto. Really terrible cigars, people raving over them so I tried 1, its lost on me.

Mine too was one of the Inca range, though I think it was the tubed one, the name escapes me now. Impossibly tight draw, decent enough flavours from the little I got, but the whole puffing until my cheeks hurt ruined it for me.

It's hard to comment on this thread without any bias, as obviously my opinion is just that - my experiences based on the smokes i've had - one man's junk another man's treasure...

BUT in the interests of being extreme I have to say i would gladly eradicate the entire RyJ line* - vapid, flavourless, dross...

(*Except the Churchill...man that stick is tasty!)

Having said that I went for one of my Acid Atoms and the wrapper just disintegrated.

For me there's only been 1 or 2 really bad cigars from a construction POV or disgusting taste.
Most have been uninspiring, boring or tasteless.
I'm on a search to find the cigars I really like and I seem to be quite a fussy bugger when it comes to that. If I'm going to spend significant amounts on a cigar (not the couple of $ they cost in the US) then they need to hit all the right spots for me.
The Fonseca and the Rocky Patel 1990 anniversary were truly poor from construction and taste.

Only smoke Cubans can't say as I've had a bad one so far maybe I've been lucky.

I've never had a 'bad' Cuban cigar apart from those that have been plugged but I have smoked quite a few that I didn't like the flavour of and that has to be the distinction here. WE should only be talking about cigars that are just plain disgusting as opposed to not to our personal taste.

AVO Domaine 20 ND - had it last night, and as PJ mentioned, it just tasted like a big cigarette. All the NCs I've had so far have been very disappointing...
