Also, if it really is for a daily smoke, surely you'll want to find a few that you can ring the changes on - it would be a shame to 'go off' a cigar that's given you pleasure just because it got boring.
For what it's worth, I'd endorse the RASCC, the HUHC (although may not stretch to the hour y/n?) and the HdMPR.
Still searching for that 1 hour daily which is full of flavour, no more than medium strength, great construction and under ?10.
If you can stretch I would highly recommend the Monte 4 for this. Slightly over a tenner in UK prices, but with a bit of age on you get 45 mins to an hour of loveliness!
A generally mild to medium list. I would add Partagas shorts as my go to stogie, having a fuller flavor. Having said that I love Trini Reyes....this cigar vitola suits me during the Winter months.
So far I've gone through 3 sticks.
Tabac Especial - was nice. A bit like a small acid atom. Got half way through and it went nasty. There was a real crunchy bit at the cherry. Soon as I got that out and relit it was back to nice. What causes this? Had a few of a box of Oliva G that had the same problem.
Second was the smallest of the Fonseca 3 sampler pack. I couldn't get it to draw at all. After trying to massage the obvious knots (there was one a third in and the last third was one complete knot) I gave up and threw it. Complete waste.
Then the Trinidad. It was very smooth creamy with a hay flavour. No changes and it was ok but didn't blow my socks off to warrant a reorder.
To to summarise.
Tabac Especial - would try again maybe a bigger vitola next time.
Fonseca will depend on the other two but on that experience never again.
The Trinidad not nice enough for a re order.
Only another 15 to get through now

Montechristo no 4 this morning.
Another poorly constructed cigar. Large plug under the band which made smoking like sucking thick milkshake through a thin straw. The flavours I got (as I persevered through thus one as it was an expensive stick) were mild slightly sweet tobacco. Nothing to write home about and nothing to make me buy again.
What's up with quality control on Cuban cigars these days. Seem to be getting a fair few plugged cigars or poor quality content.
