Holmes Cuban Cigars, Nottingham

I found myself Nottingham way today and fancied a smoke. A quick search on Google Maps informed me that the nearest cigar retailer was Holmes in Long Eaton. I gave the store a call to see if they had what I was looking for; they did!

When I arrived, I was greeted by the cheerful owner, Sonny, who was happy to show me the walk in humidor. Although small, the humidor is well stocked and Sonny clearly knows his stuff when it comes to cigars. We had a chat about the various marcas and life in general and I left with what I went there for plus a couple that I didn't along with a complimentary box of cigar matches and cutter.

If ever you find yourself that way, I can confidently recommend Holmes for a friendly, efficient service. I will definitely be returning.

I went in for some Cohiba Shorts, Monte Puritos and R&J Puritos... got them and tubed Upmann Junior Corona and Boli No.3. Had one of the shorts and enjoyed it.
