  • Upmann Magnum 56 vs Cohiba Robusto Supremo

With that price, they go straight head to head now.
Is it over priced for an Upmann? Or is it worth every penny? Which is better? If you've had neither and were going to splash ?60 on a cigar, which would you get of the two and why?
I've had a Coro Supremos, which was out of this world. However, I don't know if it was ?60 out of this world.
I'd rather have another twenty year old HDM DC for ?45.
    So..... thoughts?

The CoRo was excellent but the one I had on my birthday was plugged solid and I didn't have my PerfecDraw then. Would I spend ?60 on one, no f***ing way! Did I buy a box at ?22 each?
Until I win the lottery no cigar is worth ?60

As a cigar they are both lovely....I found the mag 56 just a bit big for me....price wise....I couldn't justify to my self spending that much on a cigar

Well, jawbreaker or not the Mag 56 is the best cigar that Habanos SA released since the Connie A IMO. But not at 60 quid a stick!

Good to know! I managed to secure some of these sticks a while ago - thankfully not at the eyes watering ?60 each though - and i heard that they were sublime smokes. I also love most things Upmann, so have being saving them for some special occasions!

I guess like most things the whole value thing is subjective - i would pay more for a premium smoke for very special occasions (which is why i guess BHKs are desirable), though not as steep as ?60...
Only the impossible is worth the effort.

It definitely is a special occasions cigar. I had my last one over a year ago at a friends wedding. I kinda forced myself to forget about the remaining ones since then but I will probably take one with me for my upcoming vacation and have it then if the weather holds up.

Lol, I purchased the only Supremos I've had, at the same time as a BHK54 and paid less than ?60 for both!

I smoked my Robusto Supremo on my 50th a few days back.
I thought it was OK but I certainly wouldn't buy another unless it was 25 quid max.
