Club Allones is the only time I've had a very distinct chocolate.

I have a box of these on the way, so i shall look forward to lighting one up and seeing what I can find...

Three years ago in the Dominican Republic I found a box of Punch Punch that smelled so much of cocoa that I actually had to lick my finger and test whether they had been dusted in it! Sadly their credit card machine wasn't working and I had to leave them on the shelf.

One of my first cigars, a maduro, gave me distinct and strong flavours of cocoa and coffee. I was amazed! It was that cigar which started the ball rolling for me despite taking a 'whitey' after being overcome by the nicotine.

As the only Cuban maduro available then would have been Cohiba I'm guessing it was an NC

I picked up a single of the Partagas Maduro No. 1 when i was away last month to give it a try - we shall see if this also has some chocolate/coffee to it

It was, rolled in-store by the New Orleans Cigar Company and smoked on the banks of the Mississippi river. My first ever cigar was a Connecticut Panatella bought from the same company the night before.

For anyone who uses Tapatalk then the poll so far is as follows:

3 people voted that they can confidently identify multiple flavours in any cigar

20 people can sometimes identify one or two distinct flavours in a cigar

3 people, myself included, don't have a clue - just enjoy smoking them

and 1 person voted that they copy and paste notes from other peoples reviews to make it look like I know what I'm talking about!

Glad to know that I am not alone.

Chico, as long as you hang out at the UKCF, you're never alone.

Question: I rarely use TapaCrap and prefer to use Chrome to look at the forums. With the exception of posting pictures, I find it much easier to use. Now my question - why did you say "for people using" Tapacrap? I can see the results of the poll just fine on Chrome.

PS - Among other reasons, I don't use TC because you can't see the Post Titles (a main ingredient in all Coro posts), it's hard to find the newest posts and it doesn't work with UKCF basic smileys.

I usually get one main flavour with a hint of one or two with a distinct creamy or roastedness to it

I use Tapatalk on my phone and realised that one of the limitation is that you can't see the poll, so for the benefit of anyone just using tapatalk I gave the update. It's swings and roundabouts, as on my phone if I use the web browser to look at the forum I have to keep zooming in and out as the text doesn't get wrapped when you zoom in.

Got it, Muchacho...thanks! (One more reason NOT to use TapaCrap.)
