• What's a good winter stash?

Thinking a little ahead of time and as its payday I'm looking to put together a list for a winter supply so they have had at least a couple of months to rest.
I was thinking smaller smokes overall would be better? If there are any tips to enjoying a smoke in winter please do share

It all depends if you can smoke inside. I smoke the same kind of sticks all year long since I smoke in my home and am allowed to do the same at my girlfriends place.

For smaller smokes I would go for San Cristobal El Principe, Bolivar Coronas Junior, Ramon Allones short club corona or Punch Petit Coronation.

I would also still count on the HdM Petit Robusto, Trini Reyes, and H Upmann Half Corona
Only the impossible is worth the effort.

The Upmann HC is my go to short smoke, although not tried some of the others mentioned.

I agree with all mcdee suggestions. Though I'm not familiar with the Punch PC, the others are all solid reliable smokes. Looks like I'll have to get my hands on a couple of Punch PC!

E2A: Hoyo du Depute are also a very enjoyable short smoke.

You got a keeper there mate! Got to keep to the gazebo or garage, wee fire pit to keep some heat around.

Build yourself a mancave! A cabin or a shed would be best with power and heating

It's in the pipeline a few more pressing issues need dealing with before I can get that project going. Though I have all the planning done and budgeted.
Needs done really nearest lounge is an hour away and even then it's in a hotel which is a little tricky to just show up without a booking. So it's an investment in the community, think I can get government funding?

Why not ?

I can smoke in the glass house of my local cafe but don't kid myself that it will last for ever. There are certain elements that are desperate to finish this loop hole, even though I am sure there are no complaints form customers that actually use the cafes with such arrangements. It's the bitter & twisted political brigade, with a puritanical streak that don't like to see people enjoying themselves. When they finally close them down, I'll be limited to my garage which is beneath the house & it stinks for several days afterwards, even with the windows or door open so I don't like to use it too often as it annoys the wife, when it seeps upstairs.

As for short tasty smokes (even in cold weather) try RASCC, Boli JC, BBF are not too big; Party Shorts & of course SeriesDuCon No3's if you are lucky enough, to have any left.

This is something I’ve been considering, smoking inside is not an option for me. I need a new shed but wouldn’t have room for anything big. Looks like a winter round the fire pit for me

Anyway a Reyes gets my vote

Seeing some names come up, Trini is definitely on the list as so many people have praised then I think I need to see what all the fuss is about. RA and HdM. Might add a Punch too.
A thing I've noticed when it comes to these kind of questions, cohiba and montecristo don't often come up. Certainly not a criticism but is there reason for this?

Cohiba SigI & Monte No5 are both decent smokes but probably aren't smoked as often as the previous suggestions.
