  • Cigar Newbie Need Some Recommendations

I have no idea what to buy or what to look for or whats a good price.

Would like to try some cigars, I'm an ex smoker thats been vaping for a few years now and never got around to trying a nice cigar. Would appreciate any suggestions.

    A Proper Intro.

I'm sure a lot of folks would be happy to share their suggestions, but first, how about introducing yourself to the lads over on the "newbie greets" forum.

I see that you have had recommendations for a couple of smaller smokes so I will chip in with a larger option.
For a nice mild but longer smoke, try the Hoyo de Monterrey Epicure no.2.

Still, if you don't like it, don't give up. I was also recommended the Epi No.2 when I started smoking cigars, and I really disliked it... then came to realize Hoyo's flavour profile is the one I enjoy less from all of the Habanos portfolio, even though they are mild.

Same as Monk, still yet to find a Hoyo I really like even though the Epi 2 is either the first or second most sold Cuban in the world I believe.
I personally love Por Larranaga Petit Corona, H. Upmann Half Corona, anything from Trinidad and also anything from the non-Cuban brand Oliva. For the time being I'd avoid Cohiba just because I personally find them overrated and it's really hard to appreciate all the subtle flavours from a Cohiba as a newbie. I'm still on my way to really understanding what Cohiba is all about but I'm sure I'll figure it out one day.
For the time being I'd recommend sticking with the ?10-?20 cigars [emoji1303][emoji4]
