  • Wedding Cigar

    Hey Guys,

I have a colleague who gets married and he wants to get some cigars for his guests and himself. None of them are cigar smokers, so I guess it should be something mild and not too expensive either. So probably a NC. Any suggestions?

    Waste not...

That's what I'd do, chico...but I wouldn't necessarily go to NCs. Perhaps a bundle or two of Jose L. Piedras or something like that for the non-aficionados, and a higher-end puro for you, the groom, and others who appreciate the puro.

As one who used to provide top-end cubans at parties, there's nothing more horrifying than finding half-smoked Cohibas smashed into dinner plates.

    Lesson learned!

Dunhill Aged are very mild and fairly inexpensive. Often come tubed which tends to go down well with inexperienced smokers and is handy from a practical perspective.

I take a box of Dutch dry cured cigars to weddings and hand them round.

I had a box of Guantanemero Cristals that I picked up in Spain for the guests , didn't feel bad about all the half smoked ones.

Thanks guys! I won't be at the wedding and as far as I know, none of them actually smoke cigars. The wedding is actually in Spain, so I might have him pick some up there... (And some for me )
