A bit late to the thread, but for the record, I have seen puro boxes in LCdHs that had no dates. Can't remember the explanation for the missing date, but the owner claimed they were legit. Maybe...maybe not.

I have seen a box of Du Prince without the date stamp a couple of weeks ago in Germany. They were legit. Let's just say that quality control in Cuba isn't the greatest.

They only started dating them in 1984, or a box with a cardboard outer does not come with the date stamped on the box partagas 898 for example. Either of these could be the reason

Though these are fake the seals have square edges when should have angles at top of hologram.

To whoever said the barcode never showed up on habanos checker that happens with authentic boxes from time to time too so not a 100% check it's been known a few times to be wrong
