  • Vegetable glue

I have just managed to get a 20% discount on a box of Cuaba Distinguidos at Geneva Airport as one of the cigars was unraveling slightly, and I seem to remember reading somewhere that it is relatively easy to fix the problem with vegetable glue.

Does anyone know know where I can buy said glue?

    Many thanks in advance.

+1 on this stuff. Works a treat on damaged wrappers.

I've just bought some and a couple of budget travel humis that Shamz shared earlier, total price less than ?6. Can't go wrong.

If you make Jam you may already have pectin in the house and it works perfectly.

so how much would you use when repairing a loose wrapper? and if there is excess is it better to wipe away or let dry?

Just a dab on the finger tip. Basically as little as needed IMO

I used to use a bottle of pectin Marc, lasted me several yrs. Eventually it went mouldy so threw it away & can't find another. All seems to be sachets to be made up & I can't be bothered/ Dose the job fine though & agree with the minimum required line. Leave out of the humi to dry for a while, then put it back in.
