  • CA Top 25 2016

Not been a BOTL for too long, but this is the first time i think i've seen some Cuban in the CA to 25 list before.

Do you think its is only because now you bring them in the the USA now?

I have only seen it for a couple of years, but 2014 and 15 had cubans in.

They've put CC's in before, all a load of nonsense anyway if you ask me.

I don't remember them not having CC in. Even CA realise that there are good cigars and then there are NCs.
If you want to, you can.

They always include Cubans in the list and actually in every edition of the magazine.

I see they've just announced their number one cigar of the year. . . (drum roll) La Flor Dominicana Andalusian Bull? Anyone on here tried one?

Good question Peejay. I certainly hadn't. From what I've read, it was only released in June '16. I'm sure that's just coincidence and absolutely nothing to do with marketing at all, what so ever!

Are you insinuating that their top rated cigars are based on anything other that an unbiased opinion!!

A whole page rabbiting on about the producer and half a paragraph to do with the flavour of the cigar.

"First impressions are bold and savory with strong notes of hickory and leather. But it continues to take on a complex spiciness of saffron and cumin as well as a slight tangy note that brings the strength and spice together quite gracefully—and it only gets better with every puff"

                          scored a 96.

                          Ha.

I'll remember that for the next time I write a review. 1/3 very nice notes of burning tobacco. 2/3 the cigar now developed more notes of burning tobacco. 3/3 for the finish I got a very strong note of burning tobacco, mixed with other notes of burning tobacco. I conclude, this cigar was made of tobacco.
