Made a thread on here about my cigars not burning in the middle. Thanks to UKCF I saw a video on the Cigar Aficionado cinema about lighting a cigar. The method was to put the cigar on the tip of the flame and rotate slowly to get it burning then take a couple of gentle tokes and to leave it.
Bought a Bolivar today and tried it out and big success, lovely huge volumous smoke all the way down to the bottom, smoked it right down til it was burning my fingers, no draw issues (due to poor lighting techniques!). Absolutely brilliant smoke, possibly the best in a long long time. If I can light my cigars like this in the future to get that lovely even burn, then I look foward to my 25 incoming cigars and in the future in general. Was my first Bolivar also so that's a superb introduction to that brand.
