Vacuum bagging

Just wondering... I was interested in the assembled opinions...

I gather that some suppliers send cigars vacuum bagged... ( I say gather because I've never received a vacuum bagged order from our sponsor() or the couple of other suppliers I've used)

I wondered if any of you folks had any thoughts on how vacuum bagging would affect cigars if at all?.... How long they could be left vacuum sealed?... indeed could they be stored as such?...
