Don't really have a soft drink with mine, if I have a smoke during the day it's either hot coffee or the cold coffee drink that a certain budget supermarket sells, or whisky at night.
Common sense is not a gift, it's a punishment as you have to deal with everyone who doesn't have it!

I'm partial to a cold coffee drink (there's a Swiss one which is pretty nice and pretty sweet) with a daytime cigar, otherwise: tea, coffee, whisky, rum. Not always in that order, but sometimes in combinations (but not mixed, tea/whisky does not equate to Irish coffee).
Thin milkless teas (Darjeeling, Earl or even better Lady Grey), drunk with a hefty spoonful of sugar are pretty nice with a stronger cigar I've found.
But fizzy drinks, yech, I get that thing where a retrograde gas burble goes up behind one's hard palette and down the nose. I dislike that greatly.

Cigars are vegetarian, we should all remember that. We're *being* healthy!
I don 't find tea works often for me, coffee always but the only other soft drink i can recommend is the above. Yes, it's 1% but you could have 2 & still be under the limit.
