2016 EL and new release

Hey guys

I'm fairly new to this cigar world so don't really no how long some of these new cigars take to filter down to our local vendors.

They were announced back in march and 5 months on I've not seen a single sign for them...even thought I'm seeing 2016 boxes.

Is it just a matter of waiting or does it normally come over to Europe at a set time? Ie September

I wouldn't hold you're breath to be honest , they may not reach us until the end of the year, and in some cases in the past they have been available until late the following year (for example, IIRC the RA 898 in Germany, which was a 2014 RE, reached Germany in late 2015)

O ok....wow that's really late... didn't think it would take so long. Is it a ploy to get more demand or simply just Cuban timing?

Often it's just disorganised Cuban manufacturing process or a problem with wrappers or similar. RE's can be rejects by the importer for QC on wrappers or labels, sometimes even the boxes can be rejected...

Patience is required with Habanos, put them to the back of your mind & one day you'll be pleasantly surprised when you walk into your local dealer & find them sitting on the shelf.
