That they were twisted to prevent selling them on is an interesting twist to the story which was more that they were twisted to prevent theft of 'normal' cigars

I also read recently that the main flaw with both theories is that (in the case of the intention was to prevent theft) the rollers could simply roll more twisted cigars and in the case of both, it would be more cost effective to let the roller have the factory rejects.

No-one will ever know the reason why they were created, but I suspect it is primarily to make them stand out on the shelf

I suppose You'll have to ask yourself the question: do I pay for three modest sticks, or do I get one exquisite cigar for the same price.

P.S. They are not rolled twisted, the are rolled normally & twisted so they dry in the embraced shape.

WOW! One for the ages, no doubt. What an honor it must have been to witness.

I'd love to hear more of your stories from the UKCF past, El Catador. I'm sure others would too!

I've had a single and it was a nice, decent smoke, but like VTG says, nothing extraordinary. However, I think the format and presentation is great.

Three ends in the mouth is quite a feat I'm not sure we should get a picture
