IMO they are a true social cigar, perfect for any gatherings. Ive seen one smoked before and the ash held much better than you would think.

Well just to go against the grain of answers so far, I have only tried the Party version but believe it to be a fine smoke when aged & I have a couple of coffins of them in the Boli cave. To me they are more of the old fashioned Party flav. I think what puts people off is they look like a joke/gimmick & you'd feel foolish smoking them down the pub garden? Well that may be the case but consider this, why have they a survived so long when finer Habanos have been deleted through lack of sales? People may try them out of curiosity but I am assuming sufficient numbers appreciate them to keep the vitol viable. So if you have a chance, certainly try one but preferably cut the ribbon & smoke with two friends.Simon Bolivar: Liberator of Bolivia, Ecuador, Peru & Venezuela.

Interestingly I just looked it up in MRN and he states it was created based in the principle that thicker cigars age better (which isn't something I subscribe to) and this enables smaller ring gauge cigars to age as well
