To those that use them, I've just had a read on the Heartfelt website but doesn't say much about how they work... do you still have to add water/solution to them?

Yes, the beads are opaque. You spray them with distilled water until about 50% go translucent. If they dry out you add more water. If they become saturated you dry them out.

So presumably the benefit of them is that they last longer and are therefore cheaper? How long do they last?

I paid around ?25 plus ?13 postage for my Heartfelt beads, and they take care of my display humidor which can
realistically hold hundreds of cigars, even though I only have approximately 250 in there at the moment.

Thanks for the info PeeJay, once my stock of Bovedas is whittled down I may give Heartfelt a go if I can bring myself to go back to adding distilled water regularly.

Do you use their tubes or some other container?

My wine cooler has two fitted trays that hold a pound of beads each

Thanks again for the advice PeeJay, I'll use up my stock of Bovedas and then make a decision

Here is the thread concerning my situation.
I initially started the thread talking about a wineador, but around page 7 it developed into my display humidor.
The photographs of the Heartfelt beads are in there though.
