You know it, SHAMZ84. I can't wait to crack it open and get my hand of one of these cigars. As far as source, you can find them on practically any street corner in Mexico. Apparently, they are very popular here.

That where I'm going wrong I... I always go to Miami beach....Might be good time to learn how to dissect a cigars and see how they are rolled.
I would've like to have seen you back as Ray Gay TJ
Ray Gay? Can't say the name rings a bell.
He must be one of don TJ's cohorts. I'm still learning about don TJ and his cohorts (the Coros) by researching the archives. Apparently, there are/were many others who make/made up the Coro Clan. As part of my apprenticeship, I must learn as much as I can about each member of the Clan. So anything you guys can share about the Coros will be appreciated.
From what I've read so far, apparently at least one UKCF member had quite a crush on Catalina Joy Coro. Apparently she is/was a real looker!

Haha! That's funny, Simon G. But if anybody needs his head examined, it's me for taking on this task.

See! I'm gone from the forum two minutes and the legend is back! Hope you're keeping well Sir! Best wishes, and great to see you back here by the way - Rupert

Rupert! What a classic British name....I LIKE it! I will certainly pass along you sentiments to don TJ the next time I See him.
But for now, you're stuck with me - Ricky Bobby, a total cigar newbie! So on behalf of don TJ, it's good to see you back on the boards, as well, sir.

I have absolutely no idea what/who the hell I'm dealing with here, reading previous people's comments it seems I'm talking to an ex-member that has reintroduced himself onto the forum under the name of Ricky for some reason, it appears you have quite a following whether infamous or not. I enjoy listening to people with different takes on how they act in social situations. I look forward to reading more of your posts TJ.
Also have you bought fake cigars and then stuck real ones in those Cohiba boxes for the lols or are you a seller/dealer of fake cigars? A shroud of confusion covers me atm haha [emoji23]
Haha! You're thinking about it too much, Matt Wall. Whether you believe I'm Ricky Bobby, don TJ posing as Ricky Bobby or a cigar huckster trying to make a fast peso, what difference does it make. My posts stand on their own.
As for stuffing boxes with fake cigars or being a vendor of same- HOW DARE YOU, SIR! I suggest you go to the back of the archive rack and read three or more don TJ and the Coro's posts to learn about these enlightened, humble, but honest patrons of the puro (cigars).
Now, if you will allow me, let me help you lift that "shroud of confusion" from your weary head. First, breath deeply three times slowly. Then, turn off your mind, relax and float downstream* ...and let the puro spirit show you the way**
Arghhh this is driving me insane now, no idea who you are or what you stand for but it's covered in riddles whatever it is. I'll just have to find out more as you post more.
Btw I didn't say stuffing fakes into fake boxes, I said I thought you stuffed real cigars into fake boxes just for the banter [emoji23]

I wondered how long that would take you ! It'll be your brain they stuff into a little fake box if you spend much time trying to figure out what's going on here without checking back the archives and reading TJ's previous stuff Matt.
Are they all fakes? Was that the point of this. You teaching us by us teaching you?
I'm going with all fake.
Haha! Apparently my last post was a bit unclear, based on all the confused responses I woke up to (more on a suspected reason in a later post).
But to your specific questions, Wigan...
First of all, I did not understand how you could "fake" a cigar. A little research on the interwebs, however, taught me that a "fake" or "counterfeit" cigar is made with non-Cuban tobacco, but falsely labeled as a Cuban cigar. Good to know! At the time I posted the pictures, I didn't know that some were "fake," but when I re-examed the special drawer where some of the cigars were stored, I noticed it had a small label saying "counterfiets!" Apparently don TJ liked to collect fakes.
The point of the post was to show you the cigars I selected to try out and solicit comments on which are good, which are not so good, and which I should smoke first. No brainer there.
As to your last question about me teaching you??? Interesting prospect, but I ain't that clever (LOL).
Finally, it is my understanding that most of the cigars in the pictures are genuine Cuban cigar, or puros, as don TJ calls 'em, but now I know that a few are fake. Can you identify which are fake?
