• Montecristo No3 Serie Sevilla Colecci?n Vintage Jar

This will be released in Spain at the end of the month. The Jar contains 30 Monte No.3 ("aged" minimum 5 years) and will be limited to 1500. The cost is ?300.

That seems like a good price.... From what i have seen the jars usually command a massive uplift on the price of a box. It's a handsome piece!

I was gonna say...from a price point of view it looks quite cheap when there is only a limited amount of them available...I would have thought it might have been double the price.. Do jar not sell for that much as a collector's item?

It certainly is a good price (roughly retail for the cigars alone). My guess is that they have some unsold stock that they'd like to get rid off and will put a limited edition jar on the market to do just that. I asked my Spanish source if it would feature a box code and date but he doesn't know that yet. If there will be no code and date I'm probably right about the "over stock".

does anyone on here have any of the ceramic jars. I think they look really cool but was just wondering do they work effectively as humidors. for price this one seems really good cheaper than you would get 30 monte 3's for

That's odd. I had them before....never sold anything here either. Maybe I did something wrong? Maybe the boss can advise?

                      Hi james.uk

I think you'll find that with a time away from the forum, PMs have automatically been withdrawn. It's a feature that has been in place for quite a while. Stick about, keep posting and after a few months they can be reinstated.

I've just looked at your posting and it would seem to fit with PMs being automatically withdrawn. Pop a post up in 'Forum discussion' for Deano's attention. I'm sure he'll know what occurred and if it's a mistake, put it right
